X-Protein Lab

A recent program initiated by FIPWA, the X-Protein Lab program, took a deep dive into the production of alternative proteins. The program engaged with six pioneering businesses expanding Western Australia’s efforts in the global market, with a particular focus on Singapore.

The businesses were mentored by industry experts from Singapore and Australia in areas of support including research and development, technology readiness, intellectual property considerations, product-market fitness, business models, consumer and market acceptance, investment potential and global relevance.

The businesses also interacted with like-minded Singapore startups linked to the regional and global agri-tech financing ecosystem.
