04/08/2022 – University research and development to commence at FIPWA
Murdoch University has officially commenced operating from the Shire of Murray’s Food
Innovation Precinct Western Australia (FIPWA). The University, in the newly constructed
Research and Development (R&D) building, will champion food innovation with specialist
science laboratories, food product research and bench scale production facilities for food
science and nutrition students.

The new era in food innovation is one step closer to reality with tenant The GrowHub taking
over tenancy of the Innovation Centre at Shire of Murray’s Food Innovation Precinct
Western Australia (FIPWA).
05/05/2022 – New era begins for Food Innovation Precinct Western Australia
A new era in food innovation has officially begun in the Shire of Murray.
With construction of the Food Innovation Precinct Western Australia due to be completed
by July, the founding partners have signed leases committing them to the Precinct for at
least 5 years.
